At the end of the second world war, relationships between European countries were greatly troubled and a time for peace was needed. How could Germany rekindle relationships that had gone through so much loss? In the 1950s, many initiatives were taken to improve Germany's relationship with France. This is the story of two people who partook in those initiatives.
